Tropiwinter

Para la inauguración de la exhibición de los diseñadores panameños en la embajada de Panamá durante la semana de la moda de Londres, escogí un lookito de mi amigo Antonio Feuillebois de la cole que presentó en esta exhibición. Me apetecía algo con un color vibrante y divertido para contrarrestar un poco el invierno gris que nos ofrecía Londres, pero sobre todo me entusiasmaba un montón el estampado de las olas muy del trópico que tiene el vestido, para llevar algo que me recordase el calorsito de Panamá y sus playas preciosas y demás paisajes tropicales que me gusta presumir cuando estoy fuera del país, además encontraba un balance muy justificado entre lo girly y un toque boyish que da el cuello redondo estilo atlético. Lo he complementado con un blazer también de su colección para protegerme del frío y espantarle un poco la onda tan casual, unas mallas azul que iban a juego con el azul del vestido y le daban un leve toque "urbano" y como nos tocaba caminar y tomar dos lineas del tube, opté por mis creepers para estar cómoda, me dio un poco igual el código de vestir y con esto me refiero a el uso de zapatos de tacón, pero hay que ser prácticos amigos, principalmente cuando sabes que te espera una leve nevada de retorno a casa. Voila!

For the opening of the exhibition of the panamanian designers at the Panama Embassy during London Fashion Week, I chose a look from my friend Antonio Feuillebois from his collection presented in this exhibition. I wanted something with a bold colour and fun to counteract the gray winter London was offering us, but I was especially excited for its very tropical waves print and wear something that reminded me of Panama's warm weather and its beautiful beaches and tropical landscapes that I like to presume when I am out of the country. This dress has the perfect balance between girly and a soft boyish touch that gives the athletic style collar. I added a blazer also from his collection to cover from the cold and to make it look more dressy + blue tights that matched with the dress and gave it a light "urban" mood, and since we were walking long distances + two lines of the tube, I chose my creepers to keep my feet comfy. I didn't really care a lot about the dress code and by that I mean the use of high heels, but hey guys we have to be practical! specially when you are expecting a bit of snow on your way back home. Voila!
